Roof Trusses

Holiday Home roof trusses are manufactured using either stress graded timber that allows snow loadings to be calculated, (i.e. Grade A 750Nm2 Grade B 1500Nm2, Grade C 2000Nm2 or Grade D 3000Nm2) or by using standard timber. If standard timbers are used then physical snow loading tests (as detailed in BS 1647) are carried out on assembled roofs by the manufacturers to prove the integrity of the roof truss.

WJ Components have several hydraulic presses that are used to press nail plates into the truss timbers to create the finished truss. We have the capacity to manufacture in excess of 2000 roof trusses a week of varying configuration and sizes.
